3. "The Night Chicago Died"

"The Night Chicago Died" was released in 1974 by the British group Paper Lace. The song peaked at number one the US Billboard Hot 100 for one week in August 1974. The lyrics are about a shootout in Chicago with the police and gangsters associated with Al Capone. Daniel Powter is a Canadian singer who wrote and recorded the song "Bad Day" in 2002.
