1. "Too Much Heaven"

Answer: The Bee Gees

The Bee Gees was a group formed in the late 1950s consisting of the three Gibb brothers, Barry, Maurice and Robin. "Too Much Heaven" was recorded as a 7" single by them at the Criteria Studio in Miami, Florida, in 1978. The single was released in late autumn and was a number one hit in both the USA and Canada.

In the Great British charts it only managed to get to number three. The song later appeared on the Bee Gee's album "Spirits Having Flown".

Bryan Adams is a Canadian singer and songwriter born in 1959. He wrote the song "Heaven" with Jim Vallance and recorded it at The Power House recording studios in New York City in June 1983. It appeared as a track on Bryan Adams' album "Reckless". In the UK Singles Chart it reached number 38 and it reached the number one spot on the US Billboard top 100.
3. "Knockin' on Heaven's Door"

Guns n' Roses are a rock band who were formed in 1985 in Los Angeles. They are fronted by Axl Rose (real name William Bailey) and their lead guitarist is Slash (real name Saul Hudson) who is well known for wearing a top hat. The band recorded a cover version of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" in 1990.

It was originally written and recorded by Bob Dylan in 1973 and was included on the soundtrack of the film "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid". Guns n' Roses' version reached number two on the UK Singles Chart.

Eric Clapton is a legendary British guitarist who has the nickname "Slowhand". He has achieved fame both as a solo musician and as a member of several bands including Cream, Blind Faith and Derek and the Dominoes. "Tears in Heaven" was a track released as a single by Eric Clapton in 1992. Clapton co-wrote the song with Will Jennings after the tragic death of his young son. Conor, aged four, fell to his death from a 53rd floor flat in New York.

It peaked at number two in the Billboard Hot 100 charts and reached number five on the UK Singles Chart.

Led Zeppelin is an English rock band who were formed by Jimmy Page in 1968. They were originally called the New Yardbirds as part of an contractual obligation. "Stairway to Heaven" was recorded as a track on their fourth studio album which is an untitled album often referred to as "The Runes Album".

It is an impressive 7 minutes and 55 seconds in duration. The song was written by the band's guitarist Jimmy Page and the vocalist Robert Plant. It is considered to be one of the greatest rock songs of all times.

The song has been covered numerous times by artists as diverse as Rolf Harris, Dolly Parton and Far Corporation.
6. "Just Like Heaven"

The Cure is a British band formed in 1976, part of the New Wave music movement. They are fronted by singer Robert Smith. "Just Like Heaven" was a song written by Smith which appeared as a track on their 1987 album "Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me". It was the band's 11th top 40 hit in Britain where it reached 29 in the charts and it became their first American success reaching number 40 in the Billboard Hot 100.
7. "Hurts Like Heaven"

Coldplay are a rock band formed in Britain in 1996 by the lead vocalist Chris Martin. Originally performing under the name Pectoralz they began performing under the name of Coldplay in 1998. "Hurts Like Heaven" was a track that appeared on their fifth album "Mylo Xyloto".

It was written as a collaboration between all the members of the band and recorded in 2010 on the Parlophone label. It was released as a single in July 2012.
8. "Heaven is a Place on Earth"

Belinda Carlisle is an American singer who was born on 17th August 1958. She originally found fame as the lead vocalist of the band the Go-Go's. This band was the first to feature an all female line-up who wrote and played all their own songs. After leaving the band she went on to forge a very successful solo career. "Heaven is a Place on Earth" was a track that featured on her second solo album "Heaven on Earth" which was released in 1987.

It was her only song that became an American number one hit, in December 1987.

It also reached number one in the British charts the following year.

Kiss is an American rock band that was formed in New York City in 1973 by bass guitarist and singer Gene Simmons (real name Chaim Witz) and rhythm guitarist Paul Stanley (who was born Stanley Eisen). They are famously known for their extravagant stage shows and heavily made up faces.

As the band developed they decided to change their image and appeared without their trademark make-up and costumes in 1983. The track "Heaven's on Fire" appeared on their 1984 album "Animalize". It was the first track from that album that was released as a single.
10. "Heaven Can Wait"

Meat Loaf is the stage name of Marvin Aday, an American musician, songwriter and actor. He is most famous for his "Bat Out of Hell" trilogy of albums and his stormy relationship with his one-time songwriter Jim Steinman. Although most famous for his music Meat Loaf has also appeared in several films including "The Rocky Horror Picture Show", "Wayne's World" and "Fight Club". "Heaven Can Wait" was the third track of Meat Loaf's classic 1972 album "Bat Out of Hell".

It also appeared on his compilation album "Heaven Can Wait - The Best Ballads of Meat Loaf Vol.1" which was released in 1996.

This album featured 12 ballad that had featured on various albums.
