"This Diamond Ring" was one of seven tunes by Gary Lewis & The Playboys to make the top ten on the Hot 100. Also in 1965, "Count Me In" and "Save Your Heart For Me" reached number two, "She's Just My Style" got to number three, and "Everybody Loves A Clown" peaked at number four. In 1966, "Green Grass" hit number eight, and "Sure Gonna Miss Her" made it to number nine.
