"Maybe roll in the sand with a rock and roll man, somewhere down Montserrat way..." Originally released on the album "Volcano" in 1979. Montserrat is a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean. From 1979 to 1989 it was home to a recording studio popular with musicians, such as Jimmy, that wanted to enjoy the Caribbean weather while recording. Hurricane Hugo destroyed the studio in 1989 and it was never rebuilt.

In 1995, Soufriere Hills Volcano erupted, after being dormant for centuries, covering Plymouth, the island's capitol, with a pyroclastic flow.

He played the captain of the schooner Tiki II, which sailed upon the South Pacific in search of adventure.

"Billy Voltaire was a piano player up from Miami way". This song was released as a part of 1973's "A White Sport Coat & Pink Crustacean". Back in his early Key West days, he said that he was inspired by a newspaper article in the "Miami Herald". A murder had occurred in Hialeah that involved a love triangle gone bad. The newspaper article was entitled "A Cuban Crime Of Passsion".
