Jayceon Taylor, also known as The Game, spent most of his life in Compton, California. Dr. Dre, a Compton native, signed Taylor to Aftermath Entertainment in 2002 and in 2004 to G-Unit, an Aftermath affiliate label, to work with 50 Cent. Taylor's debut album, "The Documentary", was released in 2004 featuring artists from 50 Cent to Kanye West.

Although Young Buck and Mobb Deep are G-Unit members, they are not from Compton, California.
2. Which artist was featured in Chamillionaire's 2006 single "Ridin"?

Answer: Krayzie Bone

In 2006, Houston rapper Chamillionaire released a hit single featuring Bone Thugz n Harmony member Krayzie Bone. Although both Layzie and Wish Bone appeared in the video, neither actually performed in the song. Mike Jones and Paul Wall are also famed Houston rappers, but neither were in this song.

Crime Mob and Dem Franchize Boyz are also Atlanta based groups, but aren't responsible for those songs.

In 2006, Nas released his eighth solo album "Hip Hop Is Dead". This album title raised some controversy among many hip hop performers and fans, bringing up debate over the state of hip hop. Particularly many southern performers took offense to the title of the album, believing it was directed towards their region. "Illmatic" and "God's Son" are titles of other Nas albums, but were released before 2006.

Three 6 Mafia released their album "Most Known Unknown" in 2005. On it was the single "Stay Fly". It brought up some controversy as to the lyrics of the hook, which was believed to be a satanic message.

Answer: Vans

In 2006 The Pack came out with the song "Vans" which was even named number five on Rolling Stone's list of "The 100 Best Songs of 2006". The lyrics of the hook are "Got my Vans on but they look like sneakers". The video actually shows members of the group dumping various popular shoes onto the ground.
