1. Often referred to as the 'First Lady of Country Music', her marriage to the great George Jones as a 'country music couple', produced many duets during and even after their 1975 divorce ... true or false?

Answer: true

Yes, they did continue as duet partners for several more years. In 1995, their reunion album "One", was favorably accepted but did not chart successfully.

Country music singer/songwriter, Tamala Georgette Jones born 1970, is the only child between Jones and Wynette.

An only child, Wynette was cared for by her maternal grandparents on their Mississippi farm. After the death of her husband (just prior to Wynette's first birthday), her mother left for Memphis to find work.

Her father was a musician and farmer. Wynette taught herself to play many of the instruments he left behind.

Causing controversy among feminists, this song shot to number one on Billboard Hot Country Singles and remained so for three weeks late 1968. It took the 19th spot on the U.S. pop chart Billboard Hot 100, bringing Wynette to superstar status.
