Helen was born in Melbourne Australia on October 25, 1941. Her signature song, one of three that topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts, was "I Am Woman". It was the original women's anthem and paved the way for many more songs celebrating "Girl Power".

Melissa Manchester was discovered by Barry Manilow who in turn introduced her to Bette Midler. Bette's backup singers were known as The Harlettes. After she went solo Melissa scored several hits including "Don't Cry Out Loud", "Come In From The Rain" and "Midnight Blue".

Anne was born Morna Anne Murray in Springhill, Nova Scotia, Canada. She was the first Canadian female solo artist to have a number one record in the US.
