Answer: The Kansas City Five

"Baby Let Me Take You Home" rose to number 21 on the British charts. Eric Burdon, Alan Price, and John Steel were all part of The Kansas City Five. In 1962, Price left the band and joined The Kontours, where he met Chas Chandler, the future bassist for The Animals.

This song features the famous organ solo by Alan Price.

After The Animals officially broke up, Burdon joined the band War.
9. What band did Burdon join after the Animals?

Burdon quit in 1971, claiming to be exhausted.
