Answer: Hever Castle

This is a really beautiful place, well worth a visit - it is used in the film "Anne of the Thousand Days".
2. What title did Henry bestow on Anne?

Answer: Marquess of Pembroke

This was a high ranking honour and meant that Anne had become a very influential woman.
3. What was the name of Anne Boleyn's cousin who also became a wife to Henry VIII?

Answer: Catherine Howard

The unfortunate Catherine Howard was chosen by her Uncle, the Duke of Norfolk to replace Anne of Cleves. She was a young and foolish girl who also met her end on the block at the Tower of London.
4. Who was Mary Boleyn's first husband?

Answer: William Carey

Carey was a member of Henry's household and agreed to take on the cast-off mistress and her child. He died shortly after the marriage.

Answer: Earl of Ormond

Ormond owned considerable lands in Ireland and was a distant relative of the Boleyn family. He was considered to be a good catch for the family.
