Answer: Nathuram Godse

Godse killed Mahatma Ghandi on January 30, 1948. After the assassination, he surrendered to Indian police and was hanged at Ambala Jail the next year.
2. This person was the chief assassin of Egyptian president Anwar Sadat on October 6, 1981.

Answer: Khalid Islambouli

Islambouli arranged and carried out Sadat's assassination. He was a member of Egyptian Islamic Jihad. Islambouli and three co-conspirators were executed by firing squad in 1982.
3. On August 20, 1940, this person killed Leon Trotsky with an ice pick.

After the Spaniard Mercader struck Trotsky with an ice pick in Coyoacan, Mexico, Trotsky's gaurds were on the verge of killing Mercader, when a dying Trotsky ordered them to spare the man's life because he had a story to tell.
