Barbara Cartland was a British romance novelist who was born in 1901 and made a Dame of the British Empire. She was the step-grandmother to Princess Diana whom she did not get along with. It is unknown exactly how many books Barbara Cartland wrote, but it is at least 700. She was published under a few names including Barbara Cartland and Barbara McCorquodale.

In addition to being the Secretary of Defense, Rumsefeld also served as White House Chief of Staff and the U.S. Ambassador to NATO. When Rumsfeld became Secretary of Defense the first time in 1975, he was the youngest person ever to hold that position. When he became the Defense Secretary the second time, he was the oldest person in that position at the time.

Rumsfeld was easily confirmed by the Senate both he times he was nominated to be Defense Secretary. However, his popularity plummeted once the Iraq War became unpopular and for his involvement in the Abu Ghraib Prison Abuse Scandal.

Kevin O'Leary made his fortune by founding the SoftKey Software Products company. He became famous internationally after he starred on the British reality series "Dragons' Den" and its American equivalent "Shark Tank". Both shows feature a number of business moguls called dragons or sharks who may invest their money in various business or products pitched to them by the public.

In 2017, Kevin O'Leary ran to become the leader of the Conservative Party. Despite being the favorite, he dropped out of the race in April.

Kelly McGillis has a starring role alongside Harrison Ford in the 1985 film "Witness". She played Rachel Lapp, an Amish woman whose son witnessed a murder. She also played Clare Ruth, the second wife of Babe Ruth, in the movie "The Babe". She also played Charlie, the love interest of Tom Cruise in "Top Gun".

Elias Howe was an American inventor. He is often said to have invented the sewing machine but in reality he improved up it in a few ways. Most notably, he came up with the concept of lockstitch looping or single needle stitching. He also came up with the idea of an automatic feeder and the eyed needle.

Ann Radcliffe was born on July 9, 1764 and is best known for what is called "explained supernatural". Most of her works would feature some kind of supernatural element that, in the end, would turn out to have a reasonable explanation. Some of her novels include "The Castles of Athlin and Dunbayne" and "A Sicilian Romance".

Radcliffe was not thrilled with the Gothic genre of literature. She claimed it was moving more toward horror than terror, the latter of which she emulated in her stories. Radcliffe said terror played on emotional fears while horror involved physical fears.

O.J. Simpson played eleven seasons for the Buffalo Bills before being traded to the San Francisco 49ers for two seasons. He is infamously known for his arrest regarding the charges of murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, of which he was acquitted.

The trial gained international notoriety. In 2007, he was arrested and later convicted of armed robbery and sentenced to 33 years in prison with the possibility of parole after nine years.

Courtney Love is an American actress. Her most notable role is Althea Leasure, an exotic dancer in the movie "The People vs. Larry Flynt". Love is also an accomplished singer. She was a member of the alternate rock band Hole before venturing out on a solo career. Love's struggles with drug addiction and the law are well documented by the media.

She claims many of her problems stem from Kurt Cobain's suicide, which she did not know how to cope with.
