Ian Astbury was born on 14th May 1962 in Heswall, Wirral. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the band The Cult. The Cult have been active since 1982 and are best known for their single "She Sells Sanctuary" which was released in 1985.

Answer: John Peel

John Peel was famous as a disc jockey, journalist, record producer and radio presenter. He was born in Heswall Cottage Hospital in 1939. He died unexpectedly of a heart attack in 2004 and is still sadly missed by his fans.
