Described as a perfect gentleman, Dzhumagaliev (known later as 'Metal Fangs') enjoyed escorting unfortunate young and pretty women on strolls by the river, to their deaths.

Probably one of the most written-about cases in modern criminal history, they were arrested after inviting Myra's brother-in-law to witness one of their torture-murders. He turned them in the morning after.
