In 1951 Margaret became the third wife of Ian Douglas Campbell, the Duke of Argyll. Due to her infidelities, the Duke sued for divorce in 1963. To help prove his case in court he produced a list of 88 men the Duke believed had had having sexual liaisons with his wife.

The list included a number of government officials and a few royals as well. Needless to say he was granted his divorce and later that year married his fourth wife Mathilda Mortimer.

Mellor, who was married at the time of the affair, was also involved in a scandal involving the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) which coupled with the de Sancha sex scandal, led to his resignation in September 1992. The affair led to Profumo's resignation and eventually brought down the government of British Prime Minister Harold MacMillan in October 1963. Joanne Whalley, listed above, played Keeler in the 1989 movie "Scandal" about the Profumo Affair.

The tabloid newspaper the "Daily Star" accused Archer, a Member of Parliament and a deputy of the Conservative Party, of having sex with prostitute Monica Coghlan. Archer later sued the "Daily Star" for libel and won. Archer was later found guilty of perjury during the libel case against the "Daily Star" and was sentenced to four years in prison for his crime.

Parkinson was elected to the House of Commons in 1970 and later was the chairman of the Conservative Party. His 12 year affair with Keays, which also resulted in a pregnancy and birth of a girl named Flora Keays, led to Parkinson's resignation in 1983.

Prescott however did not resign immediately following his confession, but did finally resign after Tony Blair resigned as Prime Minister in May 2007.

Baron Laidlaw was secretly filmed by the British tabloid "News of the World" at the Hermitage Hotel in Monte Carlo with four female prostitutes and a male gigolo. There was also some drug usage caught on camera. The 65 year old Baron later admitted to suffering from a life long battle with sex addiction and checked himself into a clinic in South Africa.

In 1954 he was convicted of "conspiracy to incite certain male persons to commit serious offenses with male persons." In 1957 the case against Baron Montagu led to the creation of the Wolfenden Committee report of 14 leading religious, political and legal scholars, who recommended that homosexuality between consenting adults in private should not be a criminal offence. These laws against homosexuality, however, stayed on the books until 1967. Baron Montagu's case is often singled out as being very instrumental in the decriminalization of homosexuality in Britain.
