George Washington Carver was an American "Renaissance Man" earning the title of "black Leonardo" from "Time Magazine". Born near the end of the Civil War, he still had to overcome bigotry to succeed in becoming the foremost peanut authority of his day. He created hundreds of uses for peanuts.
2. A Hall-of-Fame pitcher was born during this president's first term and is likely named for him.

Answer: Grover Cleveland

Grover Cleveland is the only American president to serve two non-consecutive terms as president. He did so in the late 1800s. Grover Cleveland Alexander, born in 1887, came to the majors in 1911 and won 28 games that year for the Phillies, kicking off his Hall of Fame career.
3. This president's name was used for a character in the classic "Arsenic and Old Lace".

Answer: Teddy Roosevelt

Answer: Chester Arthur

The Howling Wolf, Chester Arthur Burnett, was ranked in 2004 by Rolling Stones magazine in the top "100 Greatest Artists of All Time". Burnett's song "Smokestack Lightning" was an incredible song inducted into the Grammy Award's Hall of Fame - with Burnett crooning and playing the harmonica.
Chester Arthur, the 21st president, filled out the term of James Garfield who was assassinated in 1881. Arthur lost a bid for reelection.
