Victor Cruz played college football for University of Massachusetts where he scored eleven touchdowns and had just under 2,000 yards receiving. He was not drafted in the 2010 draft but signed a contract with the New York Giants the day after. Cruz is well known for the Samba dance he performs to celebrate scoring a touchdown.

British comedian Victoria Wood first came to fame on the UK talent show "New Faces" in 1974. Her sketch show "As Seen on TV" which she wrote and starred in alongside Julie Walters and Celia Imrie won a BAFTA TV award in 1986. Her sitcom "Dinnerladies" aired on UK TV in the 1990s. Victoria Wood died of cancer in 2016.

Queen Victoria was born in 1819 and was Queen of the UK from 1837 until her death in 1901. At eighteen she inherited the throne on the death of William IV. As William IV had no children succession passed to the line of his late brother Prince Edward and as his only child Victoria became Queen. Victoria is known for her marriage to Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha with whom she had nine children.

Their children married into other royal houses in Europe resulting in Vicoria being referred to as 'the Grandmother of Europe'. On Albert's death in 1861 she went into a long period of mourning and wore black for the remainder of her life.

Viktor Troicki was born in Belgrade in 1986. He first played tennis at the age of five and reached the quarter finals of the US open juniors in 2004. His ATP Tour debut came in 2006 in Tokyo. His first Tour level title was the 2010 Kremlin Cup in Russia.

In 2010 he teamed up with Novak Djokovic, Janko Tipsarević and Nenad Zimonjić in the Davis Cup final which Serbia won by beating the French team 3-2.

Victoria Adams as she was then called joined the UK pop band The Spice Girls in 1994 and remained a member of the band until they split up in 2000. She became Victoria Beckham when she married the English football (soccer) player David Beckham in 1999. Following the breakup of The Spice Girls she had four UK top ten singles as a solo artist.

Victoria Azarenka was born in the city of Minsk in Belarus in 1989. She has had success in her career in both singles and doubles, winning the Australian Open singles title in 2012 and 2013 and winning the mixed doubles title at the 2007 US Open and the 2008 French Open.

At the London 2012 Olympic Games Victoria Azarenka won a bronze and a gold medal in the women's singles and mixed doubles event respectively. She is the first Belarusian tennis player to win a grand slam singles event.
9. Nineteenth Century Brazilian painter.

Victor Meirelles was born in 1832 and died in 1903. His talent for art was apparent from a young age and he produced his first known work at the age of just fourteen. He gained a place at the Imperial Academy of Fine Arts in Rio de Janeiro after being introduced to the director Félix Taunay by an Imperial Councillor who was impressed by Meirelles' work.

He is famous for his paintings of events from Brazil's history including two of his most well known paintings, "The First Mass in Brazil" and "The Battle of Guararapes".
10. Roman Catholic Pope from 1055 to 1057.

Pope Victor II was born circa 1118 (the exact date is unknown). His name was Gebhard of Calw. He became Bishop of Eichstätt at the age of 24 and became a close advisor of the Holy Roman Emperor Henry III. On the death of Pope Leo IX Henry III was asked by a Roman delegation to nominate a pope to succeed Leo IX, he selected Gebhard who took the Papal name Victor II.
