Timothy is the correct answer. He was a young and timid worker in the early church who often labored alongside Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles. In his writings, Paul speaks highly of Timothy, often describing him as a son. According to Scripture, Timothy was a native of Lystra and his mother was Eunice and his grandmother was Lois. However, no name is given for Timothy's father.
