My name is Lucifer and I was the worship leader of all the angels before I decided to rebel. God made me very beautiful and I also knew what words to say to persuade others. One day I decided I was tired of being underneath God and wanted to put my throne above His. I convinced several other angels to join with me. God gathered us all up and threw us out of heaven as quick as lightning. I am no longer known as Lucifer, but more commonly referred to as Satan. I try to persuade men to rebel against God and displease God with whatever I can. I am known as the father of lies. (Isaiah 14:12-17, Rev 12:9-12, Luke 10:18, NIV)

Answer: "Am I my brother's keeper?"

Because our father and mother had sinned, God required a sacrifice out of a portion of what He gave us. We had to work very hard for it. I was a farmer and my brother Abel was a shepherd. I brought God some of my fruits and Abel brought his best lamb. I was angered when God showed his pleasure at Abel's sacrifice and refused mine.

He told me I could have the same blessing if I gave him my lamb from home, but I had other ideas. I told Abel to come with me, and when I thought no one was looking, I killed him.

However God saw and said to me, "Where is your brother?" I asked God, "Am I my brother's keeper?" God told me Abel's blood cried from the ground from what I had done. I became cursed as the world's first murderer and was forced to leave my family. (Genesis 4, NIV)

Answer: We wanted to rape them for our pleasure.

Our city of Sodom was very evil and God had planned to destroy it. However because of the prayers of Abraham, God sent angels to get Lot and his family out. While the visitors were talking with Lot, we called for him to bring them out so we could rape them. Lot refused and offered his two virgin daughters. We became angry! That was not what we had asked for. We tried to break the door down, but one of the visitors stretched out his hand. We were struck with blindness while Lot and his family escaped.

Afterwards God burned the city with fire from heaven. (Genesis 19, NIV)

Answer: Potiphar's wife

Joseph had been brought to Egypt as a slave, because his brothers wanted him dead but decided to make some money instead. Joseph was blessed by everything he did so my husband Potiphar put him in charge as the leader of our house. I took notice and although I was married, I kept trying to convince Joseph to do something bad. I had a crush on him and wanted him to sleep with me. One day I cornered Joseph to where he could not get away.

When he ran, I snatched his coat and began screaming. My husband asked me why I was screaming and I told him Joseph raped me. I knew it was a lie. Potiphar could have killed Joseph but instead threw him into prison. (Genesis 39, NIV)

Answer: The Red Sea

I was Pharaoh, the ruler of Egypt. A law had been made to kill all the Israelite babies under two years of age because there were so many of them, we were afraid they would take over the kingdom. When Moses told me to set all the Israelites free to worship their God, I said no of course! I couldn't stand the Israelites but was not about to let my slaves leave, with all the money it was producing. Terrible plagues happened to my people and me but I was stubborn. I did not release the Israelites until God killed my son and all the other firstborns. Angry, I chased after the Israelites and tried to kill them all at the Red Sea. God parted the waters and the Israelites escaped on dry ground.

However God let the sea close on me, killing my army and me by drowning us. (Exodus 1-14, NIV)

Answer: He struck us with fire and caused an earthquake to swallow our families and houses.

I came to Moses with 250 men and asked him who chose him to be the leader. I told him every one of these men were holy and accused Moses of exalting himself. Everybody in Israel saw me challenge him, including God. God told us to bring incense to the tabernacle and He would chose a leader.

While we were worshiping, Moses warned everyone to step back from our tents and things. God sent fire and struck the men who were offering incense, killing them. He also opened up the earth with an earthquake and all of our tents, families, and possessions fell in. God closed up the earth and afterwords everyone was in fear of Moses and God. I would have been a great king but continued to disobey God. God took His spirit away from me and anointed David as the next king. When people sang David praises for killing a giant and defeating the Philistines, I was enraged. I tried to kill my own son for protecting him.

Many times I tried to hunt David down and kill him, but God protected him. On the day I died, I was supposed to face a great battle. I looked for a witch, even though I had killed many of them (it was a capital crime if anyone was caught doing sorcery or magic). I had her call up an old prophet named Samuel because I wanted to hear from God so much. Samuel told me I would die for what I had done. My sons and I were all killed in battle that day. I committed suicide on my own sword. (1 Samuel 28, NIV)

I served Baal with hundreds of false prophets. I hated Elijah, the man of God. I killed anyone to get whatever I wanted. When my husband Ahab was crying like a baby because a man would not sell his vineyard, I took care of that. I had the man killed and my husband was so happy. Elijah ruined our celebration by showing up and telling me that the dogs would lick my bones when I died. Ahab died later in a big battle.

When I heard a young man was coming to kill me, I put on my very best makeup. It didn't work, because he threw me out of a window. Later when he came back to bury me, all he found were bones.

The dogs had eaten me just like the prophet had told me when I murdered Naboth.(1 Kings 21, 2 Kings 9, NIV)

Answer: I murdered the rest of my sons and the royal family, except for my grandson who escaped.

When I saw that my son the king was dead, I hurried into action. I started killing all the rest of my sons and their families. I wasn't able to murder Joash because he was a baby and someone hid him from me. I thought it was a small matter. Joash was raised in the temple until the priest decided it was time for a change. I was greatly enjoying my reign, when seven years later I heard the people shouting with joy, "Long live the king!". I ran to see what the commotion was and to my horror there was my grandson being anointed as king.

He was just a seven year old! I ripped my robes and cried "Treason!" The priest had me thrown out of the temple and executed. (II Kings 11:1-3, NIV)

Answer: Hananiah

Jeremiah was trying to save people's lives by warning them of what God was doing. He took a yoke and put it around his neck. He carried it and told the people if they surrendered, Babylon would be merciful. I broke the yoke and told the people God would give us victory over the Babylonians and prosperity to our kings. Jeremiah turned to me and told me I broke wood, but God would replace it with iron.

He told me I would die for what I had done. In seven months, I was dead. (Jeremiah 28, NIV)
