He had already made the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1), but it's interesting to note that the Lord created light before He created the sky (Genesis 1:6).

Answer: killed an Egyptian

After killing the Egyptian and being confronted by a Hebrew, Moses fled to Midian to hide from the Pharaoh who was now trying to kill him.
