Answer: Selah

The word selah is described as indicating a musical interlude. It is used seventy one times in the Book of Psalms and also makes an appearance in the Book of Habakkuk. Some scholars interpret the selah as an instruction to "stop and listen", meaning that it draws attention to the text that follows.

The sarod, sitar, and sheng are all traditional musical instruments of Asia. None of them find any mention in the Bible.
2. Which of these was one of the cities destroyed by God in the Book of Genesis?

Answer: Sodom

The cities of Sodom and Gomorrah are first mentioned in the Book of Genesis and then referred to in other books, mostly to caution the people about succumbing to the same fate. In Genesis, these cities are described as having become so evil that God calls down sulphur and fire to destroy them.

All other options are places that are referred to in Bible but none were noted as being destroyed by God.
3. What kind of structure(s) is strongly associated with the city of Babel?

Answer: Tower

The Tower of Babel is described in the Book of Genesis. According to this text, the people of Babel decided to build a high tower to reach to the heavens. To prevent this, God confused their language and scattered the peoples so that this venture would not be successful.
4. Which of these was an early Christian missionary and church leader?

Answer: Titus

Titus is the name of one of the books of the New Testament. It is an epistle written by the apostle Paul to an early Christian missionary named Titus. It is believed that Titus was a Gentile who had converted to Christianity after listening to Paul preach. Traditionally, he is believed to have become a Bishop on the Greek island of Crete.

The other three all feature in the Old Testament. Tidal was a king who fought against Abraham in the Battle of Siddim. Terah was the father of Abraham. Tamar was the name for three different women - daughter of David, daughter of David's son, Absalom, and daughter-in-law of Judah.
5. What did the Israelites do just before the walls of Jericho collapsed?

Answer: Shout

The Battle of Jericho is described in the Book of Joshua. The Israelite army was to march once each day around the walls of the city of Jericho for six consecutive days.

The priests were to accompany the soldiers and carry the Ark of the Covenant. On the seventh day, they were told to march seven times. After they had done this, Joshua told the people to raise a mighty shout which then caused the walls of the city to collapse.
6. Chapter 6 in the Book of Ephesians describes the "armour of God" that a Christian should use. What is the word of God compared to in this context?

Answer: Sword

Answer: Storm

The miracle of Jesus calming the storm is narrated in three of the Gospels - Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Jesus and his disciples were crossing the Sea of Galilee when they were caught in the middle of terrible storm. Jesus was fast asleep but his disciples woke him up as they feared for their lives. Jesus spoke to the winds and the waves and said, "Be still", and the storm subsided. The disciples were filled with awe to see the wind and waves obey him.

This Biblical incident inspired Rembrandt to create a painting called "The Storm on the Sea of Galilee".
10. What does Jesus use the coin found in the fish's mouth to pay for?

Answer: Taxes

This incident is narrated in the Gospel of Matthew. Jesus directs Peter to go fish and states that a coin will be found in the mouth of the fish. Peter is to then use this coin to pay taxes.
