Eve's name means, roughly, "Life Producer". Adam was quite literally a "man of the earth", made from the dust, and his name can mean, generically, "man" or "earth".

Adah, the wife of Lamech, is the first woman named in the Bible after Eve. Lamech is the first bigamist in the Bible. His other wife was named Zillah (Genesis 4:19). None of the other three women married a bigamist. Adam had only one wife, Eve; Isaac had only one wife, Rebekah, and Abraham had only one wife Sarah (although he did have a son with Sarah's handmaiden and also remarried after Sarah died).

Answer: Hagar

Hagar was Abraham's handmaiden and mother of his first son Ishmael. Abraham's wife Sarah told her husband to cast her out. He reluctantly did so. In the wilderness, God spoke to her, promising to make Ishmael a great nation (Genesis 21).

Answer: Rachel

Jacob served Laban, Rachel's father, for seven years to win her, "but they seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her" (Genesis 29:20). Laban, however, tricked him, giving him his older daughter Leah instead. He therefore served another seven years for Rachel.

Answer: Keturah

Keturah was Abraham's second wife, after the death of Sarah. Abraham is considered the father of many nations. God promised him, "I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and I will give your descendants all this land I promised them, and it will be their inheritance forever." (Exodus 32:13)

Answer: Rebekah

A servant was sent to fetch Isaac a wife from among his own kindred. Isaac later told Abimelech that his wife Rebekah was his sister, in order to avoid potential harm to himself. But when Abimelech spotted them in an amorous scene, he confronted Isaac (see Genesis 26 for the rest of the story). Abraham tried the same trick with Sarah.

It is said that "Leah had weak eyes, but Rachel was lovely in form, and beautiful." (Genesis 29:17)

Answer: Tamar

See Genesis 38 for the full story but, in short, Tamar posed as a prostitute to sleep with her father-in-law Judah, so that she could conceive a child. Judah had refused to obey the law by refusing to give her his son in marriage after his first two sons died.

Answer: Potiphar's wife

The story is told in Genesis 39. Even though Potiphar's wife sought Joseph, he would not give into her carnal desires, and instead he fled. She, however, grabbed his cloak, and accused him of attempted rape.

Answer: Sarah

Sarah means "princess". Her original name was Sarai.
