Peter started walking on the water but when he saw the waves he was afraid and began sinking. Jesus said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?" Nimrod the great grandson of Noah was a mighty hunter before God, a mighty man who built many cities; everyone wanted to be like him. They got so confused and frustrated that the project was abandoned. The tower was called "Babel," meaning confusion. Genesis 10:8-12; 11:1-9.

The story goes on to say that the king was sad about the situation but he had already signed the decree (not knowing the reason behind it) and Daniel or Belteshazzar had to be placed in the lions den for praying openly to his God.

The king fasted all night on Daniel's behalf and early the next day he was relieved to find out that he was alive and well. He then made a decree that Daniel's God was the true God and should be feared and worshiped by all. Daniel 1:6-7; 6:10-28.
