Answer: the Lamanites

At this point, the Nephites have been completely destroyed, leaving Moroni alone among enemies determined to hunt him down and kill him. He writes these last things and includes a few epistles of his father, Mormon.
The end of Moroni 1:4 reads, "...but I write a few more things, that perhaps they may be of worth unto my brethren, the Lamanites, in some future day, according to the will of the Lord."

Answer: laying on of hands for the Gift of the Holy Ghost

After baptism in today's church, a person is confirmed a member and given the Gift of the Holy Ghost. When Christ was in Jerusalem, the Saints did not have the Holy Ghost. They received it after his death.
When Christ visited the Americas, he instructed his disciples: "Ye shall call on the Father in my name, in mighty prayer; and after ye have done this ye shall have power that to him upon whom ye shall lay your hands, ye shall give the Holy Ghost; and in my name shall ye give it, for thus do mine apostles." (Moroni 2:2)

Chapter three reads:
"1 The manner which the disciples, who were called the elders of the church, ordained priests and teachers-
2 After they had prayed unto the Father in the name of Christ, they laid their hands upon them, and said:
3 In the name of Jesus Christ I ordain you to be a priest, (or, if he be a teacher) I ordain you to be a teacher, to preach repentance and remission of sins through Jesus Christ, by the endurance of faith on his name to the end. Amen.
4 And after this manner did they ordain priests and teachers, according to the gifts and callings of God unto men; and they ordained them by the power of the Holy Ghost, which was in them."

Neither Deacons nor high priests, other offices in the church, are mentioned in this chapter.

Answer: bread

The sacrament is the most important part of the Sunday worship services. Baptismal covenants are renewed each time the sacrament is taken. We "take upon [us] the name of [the] Son" and promise to "always remember him, and keep his commandments which he hath given [us]." In return we are promised that [we] may always have his Spirit to be with [us]." (quotes from Moroni 4:3)

Answer: water

In the modern LDS Church, wine has been replaced with water in the sacrament. The bread represents Christ's body and the water represents His blood.

Answer: repentance

It is believed that in order to go to heaven, you must repent of all of your sins. It is also required to repent before you can be baptized. Some highlights of chapter six include verse eight, which reads "But as oft as they repented and sought forgiveness, with real intent, they were forgiven."

Answer: faith, hope and charity

Faith is the first principle of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Moroni 7:42 says, "Wherefore, if a man have faith he must needs have hope; for without faith there cannot be any hope." Charity is "the pure love of Christ." (Moroni 7:47) The Relief Society has as their motto "Charity Never Faileth". Faith, hope and charity are attributes every member of the LDS Church strives to obtain.

The LDS Church does not believe in baptism until a child reaches the age of accountability, or the age of eight.
Verses eight and nine say "...wherefore, little children are whole, for they are not capable of committing sin; wherefore the curse of Adam is taken from them in me, that it hath no power over them... I know that it is solemn mockery before God, that ye should baptize little children."

Answer: the Jaredites

Verse 23 reads, "And if they perish it will be like unto the Jaredites, because of the willfulness of their hearts, seeking for blood and revenge." The Jaredites destroyed themselves because of pride. They fought a war and killed each other till only one man, Coriantumr, was left.
In the end of the chapter, Mormon beseeches his son to remain faithful, even if he is the only one left, which is what happens in the end.

Moroni 10: 4-5 is one of the most well known scriptures in the Book of Mormon. This scripture is the challenge to all who read the book to pray and ask if it is true.
