Telephone numbers, PIN numbers and security codes all become overwhelming. Symptoms include dizziness, shortness of breath, anxiety and the need to flee.

Haemophobia / hemophhobia is an intense and often illogical fear of blood. Often caused by a traumatic event in childhood, this phobia is often linked to trypanophobia, which is a fear of hypodermic needles. Symptoms may include hyperventilating, causing light-headedness and a feeling that they will faint, or a drop in blood pressure, which actually causes a person to faint.
