2. Which player was promoted to the starting line-up for the Roosters, demoting Bryan Fletcher to the bench?

Last minute change made by Ricky Stuart, allowing Fletcher to make his impact from the bench with fiery Englishman Morley starting in the 2nd row with Craig Fitzgibbon.
3. How many of the Roosters actual starting squad had had at least one previous grand final appearance in first grade?

Answer: 10

11 includes Fletcher who started from the bench, 14 was the total grand final appearances (Fittler had 3 and Fitzy had 2, not just one)

Warriors ended up with first possession.
5. Who scored the first try?

The super 'F's
7. Warrior Ivan Cleary used to play for the Roosters, and playing for them in 1998 he set a then-record for most individual points in a season. What was that record?

Answer: 284

8. What was the score at half-time?

Answer: Warriors 8-6

Billy more Idle than Idol! Pity those Kiwis didn't see our brilliance in the last 20 minutes.
10. Who scored shortly after Brad Fittler's 40/20 kick?

Answer: Craig Wing

.. and Freddy didn't really remember it after being almost knocked out a few minutes earlier.
11. Which one of the following four players was not chosen for the Australia vs. New Zealand test played on October 12th?

Answer: Brad Fittler

Fittler had retired from representative football.
12. Which two Warriors players almost knocked out the Roosters captain Brad Fittler?

Answer: Wairangi Koopu & Richard Villasanti

I think Villasanti should have been sent off for that headbutt - but it helped fire up the forwards (esp. Morley). P.J. Marsh & Kevin Campion had taken out Shane Webcke (Brisbane Broncos) in Round 23 of the regular season.
13. With whose shoulder did Craig Wing's head collide?

Answer: None of these

He actually collided with his teammate Adrian Morley, then scored his try a few minutes later.
14. What was the official crowd figure?

Answer: 80,130

It was a sell-out.
15. Who won the Clive Churchill medal?

Answer: Craig Fitzgibbon

Fitzy won it and was embarrassed, Fittler probably should have won it. Campion would have won it if the Warriors had won the match, and Ricky Stuart (the Rosster coach) won it in the 1990 grand final when his Canberra team beat the Penrith team that Fittler played for at the time.
16. What was the final score?

Answer: Roosters 30-8

The majority of the game was probably a little closer than that. The Warriors "didn't play" for the whole 80 minutes.
17. How many points did Craig Fitzgibbon score?

Answer: 14

One try and 5 goals from 5.
18. By what name did Brad Fittler call the runners-up in his acceptance speech?

Answer: Auckland

And that's who they really are. I've been there, and the rest of the country doesn't really care too much about them. Heck, not even most of the people from Auckland follow them.
19. At the end of the grand final: how many grand final points had Craig Fitzgibbon scored in total?

Answer: 26

He scored 6 for St George Illawarra in 1999 (try and goal), 6 for the Roosters in 2000 (try and goal), and 14 for the Roosters in 2002 (try and 5 goals).
20. When Craig Fitzgibbon scored in the 2002 grand final it was his _____ grand final try?

Answer: 3rd

One in each of his grand finals, 1999 for St George-Illawarra, and 2000 and 2002 for the Roosters. Well done Fitzy!
