Sunderland went on a 17 game losing streak since they drew 0-0 with Blackburn Rovers on 11th January 2003. They put that to bed with a 2-0 victory over PNE.

Answer: False

He went to Everton not Aston Villa. Everton later finished the Premiership season fourth from the bottom.

SAFC lost 4-2 in an excellent game at the Stadium of Light where Kevin Kyle got a double strike. This was the only game in which reserve team goalkeeper Michael Ingham played in. Not surprisingly, he didn't play again that season.

Oster missed the first penalty, and because of Mart Poom's brilliant save, it went to sudden death. First, Jason McAteer missed, then Mart Poom saved again. However a pathetic 'clever' penalty by Jeff Whitley meant it was all over for Sunderland.
