3. Stage 3's winner also took the overall lead in the Paris-Nice.

Answer: True

Early on in the stage, a breakaway formed. It would stay out in front for most of the day. Just about 40km from the finish another group formed, this break would soon absorb the first breakaway. The break would make their way to the finish, where Sylvain Chavanel would win the stage. Sylvain rode for Quick Step.
4. What team did Stage 4's winner ride for?

Answer: Garmin-Slipstream

Christian Vande Velde won the stage. He went off the front of a breakaway to win the stage. Jonathan Hivert finished second on the stage, just fourteen seconds behind the Christian. Jonathan rode for Skil-Shimano. Sylvain Chavanel would maintain the overall lead of the 2009 Paris-Nice.
