Answer: Pheidippides

According the the legend, Pheidippids was a Greek herald who ran 150 miles in two days, then ran the final 42km (or 26.2 miles) to tell of the Greek victory over Persia in the Battle of Marathon. It is said that he fell down dead when he reached Athens.
