Bonds had a monster year hitting .336 with 46 home runs, 123 RBIs, and 129 runs scored, as he led the Giants to 103-59 record, but the Giants finished 2nd to Atlanta who won 104 games.
2. 1994: Barry Bonds led the N.L in home runs this year?

Answer: False

Although Bonds hit 37 home runs, he was 3rd behind Jeff Bagwell who had 39, and Matt Williams who had 43. Bonds also had 81 RBIS in a season that was cut short by a player's strike. He also hit .312.

Answer: Bobby Bonds

Barry hit 34 home runs and stole 31 bases. Father Bobby, last did it in 1973.

Bonds would also set Major LeagUe records with 177 walks, and an .863 slugging percentage. He would win the M.V.P. for the first time since 1993. He also drove in 137 runs and hit .328.
10. 2002: Bonds was how old when he won his first batting title?

Answer: 38

Bonds became the oldest first-time batting title winner in history, of all players aged 38. He hit .370 with 46 home runs and 110 RBIS. He also set single season records with a .582 on base percentage and 198 walks. He would help lead the Giants to their first pennant since 1989.

The Giants would lose the World Series to the Angels in 7 games. After the season, Bonds won the M.V.P. for the 2nd straight year.
