This Wimbledon was one of the rainiest Wimbledons ever. In order to try to get caught up matches occurred on the middle Sunday.

Answer: Roger Federer

After dropping the first set to Roddick, Federer went on to win the next three sets. This win gives Roger Federer the distinction of having won back to back Wimbledons.
3. Who won the Women's singles final?

Answer: Maria Sharapova

Sharapova won her first grand slam by beating Serena 6-1, 6-4. This was the first time ever that Serena had lost a set 6-1 at Wimbledon.
