The team formed "Eagles Fly for Leukemia" as their official philanthropic mission continuing to raise money for pediatric cancer research and family support. Developing one of the first Ronald McDonald Houses was a tremendous accomplishment not only assisting Philadelphia but around the world.

Earle "Greasy" Neale coached the Eagles 1941-1950. The three Championship games were 1947, 1948 and 1949. They won in 1948 and 1949. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1969.

A group of fans traveled to the 1999 NFL Draft to heckle the Eagles selection. They were named the "Dirty Thirty". The group wanted the Eagles to pick Ricky Williams as their first selection in the number two spot. Instead the Eagles chose McNabb and Ricky Williams went to the Saints.

The Saints had only one pick during that draft. They traded all of their picks to the Redskins in order to obtain Heisman Trophy winner Williams.
