Answer: Greg Norman

Golfer Greg Norman was dubbed the "Great White Shark" by an Australian newspaper reporter in 1981. The name has stuck and Greg Norman set up Great White Shark Enterprises in 1993.
2. Great Australian swimmer Susie O'Neill had the nickname "Madame Butterfly" bestowed on her by swimming commentators in 2000. From which great butterfly swimmer did she inherit this mantle?

Answer: Mary T. Meagher

Susie O'Neill broke Mary T. Meagher's 19 year old 200m butterfly record in May 2000 at the Australian Olympic trials. She was called "Madame Butterfly" as a tribute to her success and in honour of the swimmer whose record she broke. O'Neill stunned fans and herself when she failed to win gold in Sydney later that year, finishing second in the race.
3. What is the nickname of Australian swimmer Ian Thorpe?
