Larsen was present for his own in 1956 and for Cone's in 1999 on Old Timer's day. Zimmer, a bench coach for the Yanks in 1998 and 1999 was playing in Larsen's game. Shepard, the Yankee PA announcer was also there for all three. Torre Yankee manager since 1996, was in the stands in 1956.

Mattingly and Parker fielded .996, Driessen .995. Hernandez "only" fielded .994.
