Answer: Boston Braves

The Babe went from playing 125 games as a Yankee in 1934, to playing in only 28 games as a Boston Brave of the National League in 1935. He still smacked his final 6 home runs, of 714, in 72 at-bats in his final season.
2. Which of the following had more hits in a Red Sox uniform?

Answer: Carl Yastrzemski

Pete and Cal never played for Boston, but the Yaz surpassed Ted 'Thumper' Williams in hits. The Yaz retired with 3419 hits after 23 seasons, almost 800 more than the great Williams.
3. Who won the American League MVP in 2002?

Answer: Miguel Tejada

In his 6th season with the Athletics, Tejada won the MVP by batting .308, with 34 home runs, and 204 hits. The others listed were National Leaguers.

Born Roberto Clemente Walker, he did much more than this, both on and off the field. This Pittsburgh Pirate from 1955-1972 lit up the league with his offensive and defensive prowess. He was killed during a humanitarian mission to the Caribbean.

After the season tie-breaking playoff for the National League, the Giants lost to the Yankees in the World Series, 4 games to 2.

Answer: Frank Thomas

Thomas played his 13th season in a White Sox uniform in 2002. He had hit 376 home runs for the club.

Koufax struck out an amazing 382 batters in 1965 with the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1973, Ryan topped that mark by striking out 383 batters, when he fanned his last batter of the season.

The great Frank Robinson won the award in 1989 with the 2nd place Baltimore Orioles. A triple-crown winner in both leagues as a player, he continued his experience and wisdom in a helm-status. The others listed, were the 1950s and 1960s movie-famous, "Three Stooges".
