1. Where was the Pedralbes circuit in Spain?

Answer: Barcelona

The Pedralbes circuit used first in 1951, used part of the main road to Madrid. Five time world champion Juan Manuel Fangio won the race.
2. Who won the inaugural Constructor's Championship?

Answer: Vanwall

Although the Driver's Championship had been running since 1950, in 1958 the constructors championship was introduced with a different scroing system of which they use today. Only six rounds of 11 were counted (your best 6) and the points went 8-6-4-3-2-1. Moss and Brooks won six of the eleven rounds of the 1958 championship to seal the title for Vanwall.
3. Which driver died at Monaco in 1967?

Answer: Lorenzo Bandini

A crash into the barriers caused poor Bandini's car to explode, and the marshals struggled to douse the flames, then he later died in hospital.
4. From which event of 1965 did Richie Ginther emerge victorious?

Answer: Mexican

Richie Ginther led from start to finish in Mexico City to score his one and only victory.
5. Peter Gethin won the 1971 Italian GP at Monza, but what gap separated the first and fifth drivers?

The five-way battler for first produced the closest-ever finish in F1, and the fastest-ever race. Peter Gethin won the race by just 0.01 seconds.

James Hunt walked out on his old race engineer Harvey Postlethwaite when he realised the cars just weren't competitive. The 1976 champion left F1 for good and spent some time with his family before returning to F1 in the role of a commentator. In 1993, James sadly died of a heart attack.

The original livery of Jordan F1 when they entered the championship in 1991 was green and blue, with the title sponsor of drink manufacture 7-UP. Over the years they have had green and yellow liveries (1992-1995) and gold (1996). They also have had yellow liveries (1996-2005) before the team was sold in 2005 to Alex Schnaider, who renamed the team Midland F1.

The have never had a yellow and blue livery.
10. In the 1996 Monaco GP, just two drivers actually crossed the finish line. Who finished second in the race to claim six points in his best result of the season?

Answer: David Coulthard

Just two drivers actually crossed the line, although seven were classified (they had completed enough laps to be considered as 'finished'), in a race that had everything including Michael Schumacher crashing out after just six turns of the race through driver error.
