1. Who hit the first home run in Exhibition Stadium?

Answer: Richie Zisk

Everyone knows that Doug Ault was the first BLUE JAY to hit a home run at the Ex, but in the first game, in the top of the first inning, the White Sox' Richie Zisk hit the first ever home run in Toronto.
2. Which former Blue Jay never won a Cy Young award?

Answer: Phil Neikro

Flanagan won the award in 1979 while pitching for Baltimore, and later played for the Jays from 1987-1990. Cone won the award in 1994 for KC, in between stints with the Jays in 1992 and 1995. Vukovich pitched for the Jays in their first year, 1977, and later won the Cy with the Brewers in 1982 - the year they were AL Champs. Neikro pitched briefly for the Jays during his final season in the majors, 1987.

Despite over 300 career wins, the Hall of Fame knuckleballer never captured pitching's top prize.
3. Who was the first two-time Blue Jay?

Answer: Rico Carty

Carty began 1978 with the Jays but finished the season in Oakland. He then returned to Toronto for his final major league season in 1979. Fernandez was the first 3 time, and 4 time Jay. (1983-1990; 1993; 1998-99; 2001)
4. Who was the winning pitcher for the Tigers on the final day of the 1987 season, when they eliminated the Jays?

Answer: Frank Tanana

Tanana out-dueled Jimmy Key to win the American League East 1-0, on Larry Herndon's 2nd inning home run.

Answer: Tony Castillo

From 1992 until 1999, a different man led the Jays in saves every year. Henke, Ward, Hall, Castillo, Timlin, Escobar, Randy Myers, and Koch (who then repeated in 2000 and 2001).
6. Which player was originally drafted by the Baltimore Orioles, but played his first game in a Blue Jays uniform?

Answer: Cecil Fielder

Although Upshaw, Garcia, and McGriff all broke in with Toronto, they were originally drafted by the Yankees, and later acquired in various trades while playing in the minor leagues.

Collins swiped 60 bags for the Jays in 1984.

Frye hit for the cycle in 2001, his only season with the Jays and his last in the majors.

Filer in 2003, was a pitching coach in the Jays organization.
10. Who has never thrown a no-hitter against the Blue Jays?

Barker's was a perfect game, Ryan was his record 7th, and Dave Stewart threw his with Oakland in 1990 in Toronto, the only no-hitter ever thrown at the Skydome. (Stieb's was in Cleveland) Righetti did have a no-hitter with the Yankees in 1985, but it wasn't against the Jays.
