Answer: Hockenheimring, Germany

The old layout of the Hockenheimring circuit was very fast, with long straights, three chicanes between them and a stadium section known as the "Motodrom". It was made shorter in 2002 because the old layout was deemed unsafe and the spectators didn't see enough action. The new layout was designed by Hermann Tilke.

Answer: Timo Glock

Timo Glock had a problem with his Toyota (namely it had slick tyres on an increasingly wet circuit) and Lewis Hamilton overtook him on the last lap of the race, which resulted in Hamilton winning the championship.

Answer: Eliseo Salazar

Eliseo Salazar made contact with Nelson Piquet who was lapping him. They both retired from the race and as result Piquet gave Salazar a few punches. (It's pretty funny, look for a video of the incident on YouTube.)

Answer: A replica of one of Senna's helmets

The family of Ayrton Senna gave Lewis Hamilton a replica of one of Ayrton's helmets. Originally, it was believed it was used in races but sadly it turned out not to be true.

Answer: 2009 Belgian Grand Prix

Force India got their first podium at the 2009 Belgian Grand Prix thanks to Giancarlo Fisichella, who actually started from pole. That pole position was also the team's first.

Answer: Yuji Ide

Yuji Ide lost his Super Licence in his debut season (2006) after only four, yes FOUR, races. The Japanese driver's licence was revoked for "erratic driving" after he caused a major crash at the start of the San Marino Grand Prix.

Answer: 1998

McLaren won the constructors' championship in 1998, while Mika Hakkinen also took the drivers' title for them. Even though Hakkinen won the Drivers' Championship in 1999 and Hamilton in 2008, they were beaten by Ferrari on both occasions. They would have won it in 2007 but they got disqualified for spying on Ferrari.

Answer: 2000 German Grand Prix

Barrichello's first win was the 2000 German Grand Prix. He started 18th on the grid but thanks to a couple of safety cars, the rain that started during the race and Schumacher's first corner crash, he managed to win it. In the process he also helped Schumacher retain his lead in the Drivers' Championship.

Answer: 2015 Canadian Grand Prix

Alonso's race engineer, Mark Temple, told Alonso to save fuel during the 2015 Canadian Grand Prix, and Alonso delivered one of my favorite team radio quotes of all time:

TEMPLE: "We must save fuel, we must target zero"
ALONSO: "I don't want, I don't want"
TEMPLE: "We're gonna have big problems later if we don't"
ALONSO: "Already I have big problems now, driving with this, looking like amateurs... So I race and then I concentrate on the fuel"
TEMPLE: "There may still be retirements later in the race, we need to make sure we can still fight for positions until the end"

Alonso's main gripe with his car on this occasion was the poor performance of the Honda engine and the fact that he was being overtaken with ease as a result.

Answer: Williams

Vettel tested for Williams during the 2005 season. The test was his reward for winning the Formula BMW championship in 2004. (At the time, BMW were Williams' technical partner and engine supplier.)
