At that time, 'Le God' wass one of only 2 players (the other was Graeme Le Saux) to come from the Channel Islands who has also represented England at full international level.

2. Who did Nottingham Forest beat in the final of the 1979 European Cup Final?

Answer: Malmo

Most of the starting line up for Forest's opponents that evening were actually from the city of Malmo.

3. During Euro '96, who scored the goal that effectively knocked out Scotland in the group stage?

Answer: Patrick Kluivert

As it stood, with England 4-0 up against Holland and Scotland winning 1-0 over Switzerland in the final group games, Scotland would have qualified for the Quarter Final stage. But, Kluivert reduced the deficit for Holland to 4-1, to leave the Jocks heading back north early... again.
