1. Baltimore Stallions
Answer: 83rd Grey Cup (1995)
Though only playing for two seasons (1994 and 1995), the Baltimore Stallions were the first non-Canadian team to win the Grey Cup. They team was highly successful, with a 27-9 run plus an appearance in the 1994 Grey Cup. The demise of the team was largely due to the return of the NFL to Baltimore in 1996 (in the form of the Ravens).

In its short run (1911-1913), the Hamilton Alerts played in the Ontario Rugby Football Union. Though the team won the 1912 Grey Cup, they were suspended by the Union due to irregularities during the regular season. When the team folded, several of its players would join the new Hamilton Tigers. The team's colors were garnet and gray.
