Heisman also coached five years at Auburn, four years at Rice and Clemson, three years at Penn, two years at Oberlin and Buchtel, and one year at Washington and Jefferson.

Answer: University of Chicago

The University of Chicago no longer plays intercollegiate football, but at the time Berwanger played, it was a member of the Big Ten. Berwanger did not turn pro as he felt that the pay for the effort was too low.

Charles Woodson was a cornerback and kick returner for Michigan in 1997. All won the Heisman in their respective years breaking the stream of quarterbacks and runners.
