1. Who won the World Championship 4 times in the late 1960s and early 1970s?

Answer: Francois Goldstein

This man was one of the best drivers of the age. He would have undoubtely been a F1 World Champion. He decided not to go into any other form of racing.
Mike Wilson, Mickey Allen, and Paul Fletcher were all top class English drivers of their day (1970s).

Answer: Terry Fullerton

By many people's opinion, the finest driver not to get into a F1 car. He was an outstanding driver, and regularly beat the late, great Ayrton Senna. Bobby Day was a top UK driver, winning many races and representing his country many times in the "Green Man" series of races.
3. Who is credited with building the world's first kart?

Answer: Art Ingels

Art Ingels is known as 'the father of karting'. In 1956, while he was a race car builder at Kurtis Kraft, he made the first go kart out of scrap parts and a surplus West Bend two-stroke engine. He tested it in a local parking lot.

Answer: 8

Jensen Button and Lewis Hamilton started at this age. At most tracks, the youngest age allowed to use the karts is eight but some require more age.
