George "Sparky" Anderson led the Cincinnati Reds and the Detroit Tigers to World Series' championships. His Reds were victorious in 1975 and 1976 (National League). His Tigers won the crown in 1984 (American League).
2. In 1955, Al Kaline became the youngest ever American League batting champ. Whose record did he break?

Answer: Ty Cobb

In 1955, when Kaline batted .340 to win the crown, he was one day younger than Cobb was when he batted .350 to win the crown in 1907. Cobb's birthday is December 18th, Kaline's birthday is December 19th.

Answer: Alex Johnson
