Answer: Steve Van Buren

Van Buren, who played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1944-51, was elected to the Hall of Fame in the class of 1965.
2. In 1960, as a charter member of the American Football League (AFL), the Denver Broncos won their first game against which team?

Answer: Boston Patriots

The Broncos defeated the Patriots 13-10. They later joined the NFL in 1970 as part of the AFL-NFL merger.
3. The Cleveland Browns won their first NFL Championship against which team?

Answer: Los Angeles Rams

The Browns joined the NFL in 1950 after dominating the All American Football League (AAFL) from 1946-49. They won the NFL championship in their inaugural year in 1950 against the Los Angeles Rams, 30-28.

Answer: Jim Thorpe

Answer: Hagemeister Park

Hagemeister Park was home to the Packers from 1919-22. It was torn down in 1923 to make way for the new Green Bay East High School. The Packers played in Bellevue Park from 1923-24 and City Stadium from 1925-56. Borchert Field is located in Milwaukee and is the first of 4 stadiums the Packers used there when they split games between Green Bay and Milwaukee from 1933-94.
6. Who scored the first touchdown in New Orleans Saints history in 1967?

Answer: John Gilliam

The 1967 season started with a 94 yard opening kickoff return by Gilliam. The other players were all touchdown scorers on the 1967 Saints: Abramowicz - 6 TDs, Roberts 3 - TDs, and ex-Green Bay Packer Hall of Famer Taylor 2 - TDs.
7. Who was the head coach when the Philadelphia Eagles won their first NFL championship?

Answer: Earle Neale

Neale coached the Eagles to their first NFL championship in 1948 and repeated as champions in 1949. The others represent the first four coaches in Eagles history beginning with Wray (1933-35), Bell (1936-40), Neale (1941-50) and McMillin (1951).

The Marines played from 1921-24 but folded. The franchise was reactivated in 1929 as the Red Jackets which played for 2 seasons. The Dakotas and Fighting Sioux are fictitious, however the Dakota Sioux Indians were the first known inhabitants of the area until explorers arrived from France in the 1680s.
10. Who is the first Miami Dolphins player to be elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame?

Answer: Paul Warfield

Warfield, elected to the Hall of Fame in 1983, began his career with the Cleveland Browns (1964-69) but played on the Dolphins Super Bowl winning teams of 1972 and 1973. All of the others are Hall of Fame members as well.
