The others were all kickers. Douglass was in his fourth NFL season with Chicago when he grew wings. His arm didn't function as well with his 38% pass completion rate. The Bears finished 4-9-1 for the season.

Alworth spent 10 of his 11 seasons as a Charger, then his final two with the Cowboys. He retired in 1972.
