With an amazing core of talent, skill, and players such as Maurice Richard, Henri Richard, Jacques Plante, and Jean Beliveau, the Montreal Canadiens would prove to be the most dominant team during the latter half of the 1950s.
2. On January 18, 1958, the Boston Bruins would make NHL history when the first black player to play an NHL game would be teamed up on a line with Jerry Toppazzini and Don McKenney. What was his name?

Answer: Willie O'Ree

O'Ree's stay in the NHL would only last 45 games, however, he would make a lasting impression on future NHLers. He would score four goals and 10 assists during his brief period in the NHL.
