1. Warriors half Michael Witt was dropped for round one and has previously been in and out of the lineup at all his clubs. Can you name the team with which he made his first grade debut?

Answer: Parramatta Eels

The Warriors were Witt's third NRL club after debuting with the Eels. He then moved to Manly where he got very little game time. Michael's brother Steve was a former Newcastle five-eighth.
2. The English Super League has been a retirement village for many NRL players over time. Sometimes, players return to have one more crack in the big time. All the following returned for 2009, but can you name which one of these players did not play in a grand final during their first stint in Australia?

Answer: Aaron Gorrell

Former Dragons hooker Aaron Gorrell wasn't at the club in 1999 when St. George last qualified for the decider. His former teammate Trent Barrett played five-eighth that day. Stacey Jones (2002) and Rod Jensen (2005) also made it to the first weekend in October.
