Answer: Spain

Manuel Almunia joined Arsenal in 2004, but for the first years of his career at Arsenal, he had to battle for a place against Jens Lehmann. He did not receive a call up for Euro 2008 and has never played an international game, possibly because of the strength of Iker Casillas. He has also played for Osasuna B, Celta Vigo, and Albacete.
2. Dennis Bergkamp played 316 games at league level for Arsenal. Which country did he come from?

Dennis Bergkamp was born in Amsterdam and played for three teams in his career. He started his youth career at Ajax, and when old enough he played for the first team from 1986-1993. He then joined Inter Milan, but wasn't as successful and only played until 1995 before joining the Gunners. He was known for his long-range curlers and sublime skill.

Freddie Ljungberg is a Swedish footballer and played for Halmstad in his youth career before joining them in his senior career. He then moved to Arsenal and scored on his debut against Manchester United. He played from 1998-2007 before joining West Ham United, then Seattle Sounders, Chicago Fire, and Scottish side Celtic.

Marouane Chamakh rose through the ranks of Bordaeux and played for them in his senior career from 2003-2010. He signed for free to Arsenal after finishing his contract at Bordaeux. He had an incredible start to the 2010-11 season, but had a mediocre end to the season as his form wasn't brilliant, and he was constantly started on the substitute's bench.

Andrei Arshavin was born in 1981 in Leningrad, USSR. He started his youth career at Zenit St. Petersburg and played for them in his senior career from 2000-2008, before joining Arsenal in the 2009 January transfer window.
