It was hit off Turk Farrell in an exhibition game on April 9, 1965. The first official regular season home run was hit by Dick Allen just three days later.
2. While playing for the Boston Braves in 1935, where did Babe Ruth hit the final home run of his career?

Answer: Forbes Field/ Pittsburgh

That home run was the legendary number 714th of his career. The game occurred on May 25, and the Babe hit three homes in that game against the Pirates. The Braves still lost the game, 11-7.

Answer: Bob Feller

Also known as "Rapid Robert", he accomplished this feat against the Chicago White Sox to start the 1940 season for his Cleveland Indians. It was the first of three no-hitters that he would toss in his brilliant career.
