1. Prior to Alexei Yashin scoring four goals in a 9-2 win at Chicago on 3/25/03, who was the last Islander to score four goals in a game?

Answer: Steve Thomas

Thomas netted four goals against the New Jersey Devils in a 7-0 win. Two goals were each given up by Chris Terreri and Martin Brodeur.
2. How many hat tricks did Pierre Turgeon obtain in his four years with the Islanders?

Answer: 8

Turgeon recorded eight total hat tricks. He victimized the Washington Capitals, New York Rangers, Edmonton Oilers, New Jersey Devils (twice), Pittsburgh Penguins, Ottawa Senators, and the Vancouver Canucks. All but one occurred during the 1991-92 and 1992-93 seasons. The one in Vancouver occurred in the 1993-94 season.
3. In the 1999-2000 season, Mariusz Czerkawski led the team in every offensive category (By this I mean goals, assists, and points)?

Answer: True

It's all true. "Chow" netted 35 goals and tallied 35 helpers for a team leading 70 points. Not to mention, he led the team with 16 power play goals too.
4. During the 1992-93 season, the Isles played two games at a neutral site. Where did they occur?

Answer: Oklahoma City & Dallas

On Dec. 13, 1992, the Isles faced Edmonton in Oklahoma City and on the 15th they faced the Blues in Dallas. They beat both teams 4-1 and 4-3/OT respectively.
5. The Isles qualified for the playoffs in 1991-92?

Answer: False

The drought continued until the following year. They compiled a 34-35-11 record for a total of 79 points. Not to mention they were 5th in the Patrick Division, and 14th overall in the Wales Conference.
6. The Isles ammased 96 points in the 2001-2002 season?

Answer: True

The Isles made a vast improvement from the 52 points in 2000-01 season.
7. From what number did Jason Blake switch to when he chose #55.

Answer: 14

Blake originally wore #14 after coming over from Los Angeles.
8. Peter Laviolette was the captain for the 1993-94 mens' Olympic Hockey team?

Answer: True

The former defenseman was named captain of the team.
9. What is the LEAST amount of penalty minutes racked up by PIM king Mick Vukota?

Answer: 71

Mick "Vick" rang up 71 PIMs in only 17 games in the 1996-97 season before going off to Montreal as a free agent.
