Answer: Montreal Royals

Robinson was known as the Montreal Thief in the Triple A league. The Brooklyn Dodgers was the parent organization to the Royals and signed Robinson. The rest is history.
2. Who was the first pitcher in modern day history to pitch a shutout and hit a home run himself in his first Major League start?

Answer: Jason Jennings

Jennings did this in the 2001 season while pitching for the Colorado Rockies. He was 4-1 for the season along with his only season home run.
3. What player in 1995 came off the bench and hit 28 pinch-hits?

Answer: John Vander Wal

Vander Wal did this with the Rockies of Colorado. 28 of his season total hits of 35 were pinch-hits. His batting average for the season was .347.
4. What 20th Century player hit a record 20 home runs in the month of June to set a record for most home runs hit during June?

Answer: Sammy Sosa

It was 1998 that Sammy hit 20 in the month of June. This was 20 of his season high 66 with the Cubs.

Mitchell was one of many Dodger players who fell to Larsen and the Yankees that game. Under the guidance of manager Casey Stengel, the Yankees beat the Dodgers 4 games to 3.

Answer: 1959 Boston Red Sox

The Red Sox, for whatever reason didn't have a black player rostered until 1959. He was Pumpsie Green.
10. The NY Mets were an expansion team in 1962. Who hit the first home run against the NY Mets?

Answer: Willie Stargell

Willie "Pops" Stargell of the Pirates hit the first dinger against the Mets in 1962, when the Mets were 40-120. Stargell hit the first of 192 dingers that the Mets gave up that season, leading the league in that category.
